LED (light emitting diode) illumination provides an alternative light source preferred by many patients due to its distinctly whiter spectrum and longer useful life. In addition to the bulbs offering nearly unlimited life, the batteries last 5 times as long as when used with incandescent bulbs! These features provide lower usage costs and make the magnifiers even easier to use!

To soften the color of the light small yellow filters are included which can be snapped-on over the LED bulbs to provide an illumination option.

The Raylite Range of Illuminated magnifier are supplied as component parts to enable you to build a system that best suits your needs, all the heads and handles in the range are interchangeable.
Simply choose a lens and then a handle, of course if you only require an upgraded lens or even just a replacement bulb, simply select none on the drop down lists.

Illumination is provided by either LED, a tungsten bulb or a high power xenon bulb within the handles. (the new rechargable version typically gives 12 hours use oer full charge).

The heads are available in 9 diference magnifications and all are acrylic bi-aspheric lenes which are free from significant distortion (except the Raylite 7 which is single aspheric).
